Our Main Programmes:
1. Educational and Cultural Visit/Exchange Programme - This programme is to promote and encourage what has been best described by the Commonwealth this year in it's theme "Connecting Cultures". Through exposure to and experience of different cultures, the participants should take away individual and collective educational experiences that would aid in their personal growth and development.
2. Financial Literacy Seminars/Workshops - Seminars/Workshops for students and youth.
3. Work Then Study Programme promoting careers in Hospitality and Tourism - This is aimed at promoting careers in Hospitality and Tourism in Tobago. Five-month paid internships are offered in March and September yearly at top properties on the island to allow participants to "test the waters" and see if they would be interested in the industry. Interns are exposed to and trained in key areas of operation in either Administration or the Kitchen. At the end of the internship period, successful and interested participants are offered a THTI Scholarship.
4. THTI Scholarship Programme - For study in areas of Hospitality and Tourism at Associate's Degree, Diploma, Certificate, Short Course (Module) levels.
5. Internships for Tobagonians
6. Combating Gender Based Abuse and Violence (GBAV) - An ongoing campaign that includes workshops which explore three main areas: Arts and Advocacy, this is analyzing the role of mainstream arts such as music and film and their role in GBAV; The Role of the Family in preventing GBAV; and Using Story Telling (Digital Media) to combat GBAV. Video clips from previous workshops are available on our youtube channel. We also produced our After 12 Is Not Lunch project as part of this campaign.
