This was initiative was done by our past interns, Aisha De Freitas, in April 2017 as part of her practicum work with The Lily Foundation for Human Development. I slacked off a bit as I got into early adulthood, primarily due to university studies etc. but after listening to Ms. Lashey's testimonies and real life stories about those in need, it wasn't hard for me to pledge my support to the causes her Foundation stood for”. Simple acts geared towards offering support can be the deciding factor between failure and success to those struggling through life at an impressionable age.
